Join Us for a Classic Film Night in Historic HowellThe Banner of Saint George invites you to a special evening at the Historic Howell Theater on Tuesday, October 21st. Doors open at 5:00 PM for a night of community, conversation, and cinema.
Feature Film: Boys TownWe will be showing the beloved 1938 film Boys Town, starring Spencer Tracy and Mickey Rooney. The film tells the story of Father Edward Flanagan, whose vision and compassion gave hope and dignity to children in need.
Introduction by Fr. Jarrod DillonBefore the film begins, Fr. Jarrod Dillon will offer a brief introduction, sharing the background of Father Flanagan and the lasting impact of his work.
Why Boys Town?Father Flanagan’s story inspires our own mission at the Banner of Saint George as we work toward establishing the Father Flanagan House in Howell—a shelter project rooted in care, dignity, and faith.
